DAB MOTORS WARRANTY
Introduction
Thank you for choosing a DAB motorcycle. Your motorcycle represents the result of carefully considered design, precision engineering, and dedicated craftsmanship. We are proud that every DAB motorcycle is designed and built in France, within the historic Peugeot Motocycles factory — a site shaped by more than 125 years of manufacturing heritage.
DAB Motors (DBMC SAS) reserves the right to update the terms and conditions of this warranty at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

DAB Warranty
This warranty applies to original owners and subsequent owners of the covered DAB 1 motorcycle. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery.
All warranty repairs carried out by DAB Motors (DBMC SAS) or one of its approved partners will be performed using DAB-approved parts exclusively. Any parts replaced under warranty must be returned to DBMC SAS and will become the property of DBMC SAS.
DAB Motors may, at its discretion, repair or replace defective components that fall outside the scope of warranty coverage. Such actions shall not be interpreted as an admission of liability.
Work carried out by any party other than DAB Motors or an approved partner will not be covered by the DAB warranty, and DAB Motors will not be responsible for the associated costs.
This warranty is subject to the limitations described below and does not affect any applicable statutory consumer rights.
Failure to follow the instructions and recommendations contained in the Owner’s Handbook may affect the performance and longevity of your motorcycle and may compromise warranty coverage.
The DAB Warranty is divided into three sections:
Vehicle Warranty
Battery Warranty
Parts and Accessories Warranty
DAB Vehicle Warranty
All new DAB motorcycles include a 2-year (24-month) unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty, commencing on the date of delivery.
The Vehicle Warranty covers the following components:
Frame
Swing arm
Fork
Rear shock
Brake assemblies
Instruments
Drivetrain (excluding battery)
Battery housing
Controller housing
Handlebar controls
Seat
Paintwork
The Vehicle Warranty covers the repair or replacement of any covered component found to be defective in material or factory workmanship under normal on-road use during the warranty period. Repairs or replacements will be performed at the discretion of DAB Motors (DBMC SAS) or one of its approved partners.
Any repaired or replaced component remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Consumable items subject to normal replacement or adjustment are not covered, unless replacement is required as a direct result of a manufacturing defect.
For clarity, the warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
accidents
mishandling
misuse
improper storage
failure to follow the Owner’s Handbook
DAB Battery Warranty
All new DAB motorcycles include a 3-year (36-month) or 35,000 km battery warranty, commencing on the date of delivery.
Customers may purchase an additional 2-year (24-month) or 20,000 km extended battery warranty.
The Battery Warranty covers the repair or replacement of the battery if it is found to be defective in materials or factory workmanship under normal use.
Any repaired or replaced battery component remains covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.
Battery performance expectations
As with all lithium-ion batteries, capacity will gradually decrease over time depending on:
usage
charging habits
storage conditions
environmental factors
Under this warranty, DAB Motors will replace a battery only if its nominal storage capacity falls below 80% of the published nominal capacity (greater than 20% degradation), as measured by DAB Motors or an approved partner.
Testing may require the battery to be retained temporarily by DAB Motors or one of its partners.
Additional batteries purchased separately include a 3-year battery warranty, independent from the original vehicle battery warranty.
Damage caused by accident, misuse, mishandling, improper storage, or failure to follow the Owner’s Handbook is not covered.
