HELP CENTER: OWNER's AREA
The rider’s manual will be sent to you before the delivery of the bike.
The DAB Motors rider’s manual contains all the essential information needed to operate, maintain, charge, and care for your DAB electric motorcycle. It is designed to help owners use their motorcycle safely and preserve its performance over time.
The DAB motorcycle owner’s manual includes:
Operating instructions (starting the motorcycle, riding modes, charging, and reverse mode)
Safety information and recommendations
Maintenance schedules and service guidance
Care and cleaning instructions
Battery use, charging, and storage recommendations
Technical specifications and troubleshooting information
This manual is the primary reference for DAB electric motorcycle operation and maintenance.
For long-term storage (for example during winter):
- Do not leave the battery at a very low charge level
- Keep the traction battery between 30% and 50% charge
- Store the motorcycle in an environment between 0°C and 25°C
- Avoid long periods of inactivity with a fully empty battery, as deep discharge can damage it
This helps preserve battery health and long-term performance.
Yes. Temperature affects battery performance and longevity:
- The battery works best between 5°C and 40°C (but can handle of course negative temperatures)
- Very high temperatures (above 50°C) can reduce battery service life
- In extreme cold, performance and range may temporarily decrease
To properly clean your DAB motorcycle we suggest you:
- Use dedicated motorcycle cleaning products
- Do not use solvents, alcohol, fuel, or abrasive cleaners
- Avoid strongly acidic or alkaline products
- Clean regularly, especially after riding in winter or on salted roads
After washing, ride gently to allow brakes to dry properly.
Pressure washing a DAB electric motorcycle is not recommended.
High-pressure water can:
Damage seals, decals, and protective components
Affect electrical connectors and wiring
Increase the risk of short circuits
Damage the seat and brake components
To preserve finishes of your DAB motorcycle, avoid directing high-pressure water at sensitive areas.
For best results, clean your motorcycle using low-pressure water, a soft sponge, and motorcycle-safe cleaning products.
The custom Alcantara seat on a DAB motorcycle requires special care:
- Clean regularly using a soft brush, microfiber cloth, or vacuum with soft attachment
- Protect from water, sun, steam, alcohol, and solvents
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive products
- Cover the seat when not in use to protect it from sun, rain, and dust
- Wash the motorcycle more frequently if riding on salted roads
- Remove aggressive substances like salt, bird droppings, oil, or brake fluid immediately
- Store with battery between 30–50% charge
- Keep in a dry place with moderate temperature
- Avoid leaving the bike unused for long periods with a low battery level
